We’re so looking forward to welcoming you back to Grandview for our 75th Anniversary Celebration tomorrow!
The updated order of events is below. Travel safely and please reach out with any questions. Excited to see you tomorrow evening!

Parking
Please note parking is not available on-site at Grandview P.S. Please use the following locations:
-Limited parking available at Holy Family Church and Holy Family Catholic School
-Ample parking at William Scott Park (corner of Hunter Street and Grandview Ave.)
-Parking available in downtown New Hamburg (10 min. walk to Grandview)
-If street parking, please observe posted signs and be mindful of our neighbours’ properties
Order of Events
5:30 PM – Arrival & Kick-off
-Visit our registration and welcome tables. Pick up your name tag and sign our guest books!
-Restrooms open, hallway remains closed until 6:15 PM
-BBQ presented by New Hamburg Optimist Club: $5.00 cash sales for combo including hamburger/veggie burger/hot dog, bottled water and a freezie.
-Photo booth & kids’ activities open
-Cupcake Station: Enjoy a cupcake with any cash donation to Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo & Stratford-Perth.
-75th t-shirt sales: $15.00 youth sizes, $20.00 adult. Cash only. Quantities limited.
Note to Guests: We recommend bringing coins and small bills for the BBQ and Cupcake Station.
5:45 PM – Opening Ceremony
-Official welcome and ‘O Canada’ presented by Grandview’s Kodaly Choir
-Greetings from WRDSB and local dignitaries
-Peace Pole presented by the Rotary Club of Waterloo
-‘Hands United in Peace’ presented by Grandview’s Kodaly Choir
6:15 PM – Mix, Mingle & Make Memories!
-School doors open for the event
-Explore ‘Doors Through the Decades’
-View photos, visit classrooms, memory walls, and memorabilia displays
7:00 PM – Last Call for BBQ
Final opportunity to purchase food at the BBQ
8:00 PM – Wind-up
Event concludes; cleanup begins
8:30 PM – Event closes
