Please consider participating in a local initiative entitled:  “In Honour of Ethan”, a stem cell donor drive.  The event will take place on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Steinmann Mennonite Church, located at 1316 Snyder’s Rd. West in Baden.  The event will run from 1:30pm-8:00pm.  Male heroes aged 17-35 are needed and encouraged to register to become stem cell donors.

June 26th, 2014 was Ethan’s last day of Grade 6.  It was also the day he was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia).  After three and a half months of chemotherapy, it was determined by Ethan’s doctors that he will require a stem cell transplant to combat his disease.  Ethan’s family would like to thank the blood donors who have and will help Ethan on his journey.  They’d also like to encourage more people to register as potential stem cell donors.  With your help, patients like Ethan can return to snowboarding and the many activities a young boy should be enjoying.
