Dear Parents/Guardians

 It is our pleasure to welcome you to the new school year of 2022/20223.

We hope that you have had an enjoyable and restful summer. Our staff has been working hard to prepare and welcome students back into the school. We look forward to seeing our returning students as well as our new students.

As in the past, students are welcome to wear a mask at school. We will continue to frequently wash and disinfect high touch points. Our school has received additional HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filters.

Our boomerang lunches will continue this year. If possible, please place lunches/drinks in containers that can be taken home and reused. Please remember to send your child with a bottle that can be filled with water at the school.

Unfortunately, as you may have heard parents will be unable to access student placements prior to the school year. Our staff will be outside Tuesday morning with class lists to direct students towards their classes. In the event of rainy weather all students will be allowed inside and then directed to their proper classes. Due to the high volume of emails, we will be unable to inform parents prior to Tuesday.

This year we have approximately 241 students which is an increase from 223. Our breakdown of classes is the following:

1)     JK/SK (K1)

2)     JK/SK (K2)

3)     Grade 1

4)     Grade 1/2

5)     Grade 2

6)     Grades 2/3

7)     Grades 3/4

8)     Grades 4/5 (Portable)

9)     Grades 5/6A (Portable)

10) Grades 5/6B (Portable)
